Today’s stop on my 2021 donut tour is Half and Half (HnH) Doughnut Company in the heart of Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. Only one word properly describes their work: artisan. Donuts here are made with love - the kind of love that results in two donuts never looking the same. Here you choose from a collection of old fashioned, filled raised, and cronut style donuts. HnH produces the most uniquely flavored old fashioned donuts I have had. Tasting them is always a great experience… even if it costs me some embarrassment stuck at the case debating what to get.

There’s a place in Rainier Beach that’s equal parts laundry mat, teriyaki food, and donut bakery. Best to just stop reading now if you think that’s weird.

Did someone say donuts? It’s no shocker that I think of donuts continuously; however, I don’t eat them as frequently anymore. This year I’m going to try and enjoy them once a month - so here’s the 2021 Donut Tour update for January!

Final vacation project update! Decided to post it as a video instead of a blog post. Now I’m going to let it run for a week and then measure how well my process did at repairing a data stream.
